However, it doesn’t stop there. Your name is visible on our 2 TV moniters that play everyday in the lobbies all year long. The OAS Event Centre is open all year round and hosts a multitude of local and regional events in our large indoor halls as well as outdoors. In 2023-2024, that included several auctions, horse shows, livestock shows, dog and cat shows, trade shows and community events. About half are multi day events. In total it is estimated that over 50,000 people are in attendance over the year. It is estimated that 5000 people from out of town stay overnight in the area. That does not count private functions in our banquet room. Total economic impact of all these people in the area, according to the Ministry of Tourism calculations, would be approximately $4.5 million. That’s a lot of spending-your business will be directly benefiting from your exposure at the OAS Event Centre.
